Fall baking

I made cookies with the kids yesterday, which was supposed to be out first day of fall activity. That just didn't work out. A big dinner, and visit with our dear friends from down the street was calling out to us instead. Such a nice treat. There are so many fall baking projects that we are excited about this season. Addison saw a cake in Martha Stewart Living, with ghosts on it that he wants to try. Every year, the October issue of country living gets me going. They always have a black and orange cake on their cover that I must try.
But, yesterday, it was all about cut out sugar cookies....with lots of frosting of course.
