Smith farm?

Frank and I have been talking a lot lately about owning a farm. We talk about how great it would be, and how much the kids would enjoy it. We went to the Common Ground Fair on Saturday, and it made us talk about it even more....

I guess he was too tired to talk.....

The kids loved this two month old cow...and I think she loved them too.

Look at those eye lashes....

Jack was petting a cow...just in case you were wondering what this was.

These guys were for sale...

And the lambs and sheep....well, who does n't love a lamb or a sheep?

We had so much fun looking at the animals. Maybe we will buy that farm some day, but for now, I think we will stay put. Today we took a walk out back, down through the woods, to the river, with the only animal that we have. Our dog Eve. It was a great day.

So, although we do not have a barn, or chickens, no baby cows, or tired pigs, we do have acres of blackberries, a vegetable garden, and a dog. For now, that is just fine.
