Have you ever?

Have you ever made Toll House pie? If you haven't then you should! Oh, you should! This weekend, after a long day of cleaning out some not so clean places in my house, I made Thanksgiving dinner. This was our dessert. Not very traditional, but I had just made an apple pie, and pumpkin bread, so I thought, why not?

Here is the succulent recipe:
Deep dish pie crust
2 large eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter softened
1 c. Toll House chocolate chips ( I use 2 cups )
1 c. chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 325
Beat eggs on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour and sugars. Beat in butter. Stir in chips and nuts. Spoon in pie shell.
Bake for one hour.
This pie is great warm and gooey, but I like it even better the next day. It hardens just enough to cut a slice, pick it up and eat it with one hand, while you are cleaning with the other. I have never tried this, I have only seen such things on T.V. Ahem.

I have never heard of such a thing! Looks scrumptious though :)
