He is the man

I love sewing at night, and leaving the kids a gift on their bed for them to see in the morning. Sometimes it is a doll, sometimes clothing, sometimes a new pillow. Anyway, the reaction is always so rewarding, I think I do it more for me than for them. Sheer excitement every time.
Last night I made this shirt for Addison. I had it in my head for a while. He was elated!
He really is the man!

I used a favorite Amy Butler print. When the bolt arrived this spring, he asked me if it was more swimming trunks for him because he has a swim suit and matching hat that look a lot like this. Of course I had to make him something out of it.
Stay tuned to see what the little miss will get tomorrow.

I love it in general, but even moreso because you do it for the sheer squeal of joy.

He certainly is "the man"
I love this shirt, how about making me one?
My sewing skills are not up to shirt level, my son has to put up with bags and wallets!
