We decided to make cookie clay. I love this because they make the best Christmas tree decorations. I wanted to save this project for a little later in the season, but oh well. I still have the gingerbread house, and the Christmas wreath idea to save.
This project is a bit messy, but so much fun.
This is what you come up with....
and this is what they look like after they have dried. Addison and I made this one about three years ago.
2 cups salt
2/3 cup water
1 cup cornstartch
mix salt and water in medium pan , stir and bring to a boil. Add cornstartch and another 1/2 cup water and stir until it thickens.
Sprinkle cornstartch on counter and roll out dough, cut into shapes. Make holes for hanging. Air dry for a few days at room temp. After they are dry you can paint them or add glitter.
If that wasn't enough, we decided to make the cupcakes for Jack's birthday on Saturday.
