Chuncky feet and warm necks

My friend Amy, who reads my blog, sent me an email a month or so ago and asked me if I needed some shoes for Jack. Her kids have wide feet, and she noticed the Jack's feet looked a little chunky. I took her up on it, because I kept trying to stuff his feet in regular shoes, thinking they would just thin out. I was wrong. She sent a huge box with tons of great shoes for my chunky little man.
I wanted to do something for her, so I thought some knitting would be nice.
I made her and her daughter angora neck warmers....

And her son, and husband Rick merino wool scarves....

Now I am really ready to try something more challenging than just a scarf or a hat. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

what a great (maybe informal) swap! I think you are both lucky. :) good luck with knitting something beyond scarves and hats. (I'm too chicken to try that myself!)

What a wonderful way to say thank you, and the scarves are gorgeous. I LOVE the green one.

That brown angora scarf with the dark brown button is fabulous! My little guy has pudgy feet too. They haven't yet thinned out like I thought they would, which is okay. More to kiss!
