Handmade with love: part 1

The kids loved all of their gifts this year. We did not make this desk, but somebody did....

We were at a yard sale this summer and I saw this desk. I could not stop looking at it. It was in great shape, and only thirty dollars! The lady who was hosting the sale came over to me and mentioned she got it at an antique store a long time ago.
We left without it, but after two minutes, I told Frank to turn around and get it. It was the perfect gift for Addison. A fresh coat of cottage white paint, and it was as good as new.

Jack is so sweet in his coat. I love how it is really warm, but not really big and bulky. I don't work up a sweat trying to buckle him in his car seat anymore!

And Anna loves, loves, loves her new quilt.
And I love, that they love all of these gifts.

What wonderful gifts, and how wonderful to hear that they love them, too!
