I made this coat in September. A trip to the fabric store for a zipper "or something" always leads to more. This tweedy fabric caught my eye. In the sale bin, for three bucks a yard. I lined with with white fleece so it would be really warm and cozy. I guess I am better at waiting than I thought. 
And these for Jack. More tweedy fabric I got from ebay and again, lined with the fleece. They match the winter coats I made for him and Addison. Oh, they look so huge to me, he looks so huge to me, and yesterday he started to walk. I can't even talk about it. They really do grow up too fast!

and walking is a good thing (even if it is bittersweet)...my little one just started walking for good at 18 months...we were so relieved!

Thanks for the comment. Of course, I had to run of to yours and check in. I am thrilled to see you making such stylish things for you babies, they are so hard to find. The Crewcuts line is a favorite of mine, however, it gets a little pricey. I generally don't sew clothing so usually I design and have to use a seamstress. I'd love to see more of your ideas sometime.
