Makeovers

I am always changing things around . Nothing ever stays the same for long. I decided to make a new slip cover for a chair we have in the living room. I had it professionally done about four years ago, so I just use that one as a pattern.

Even with the pattern, I think slipcovers are so hard. Any tips out there? I would love to hear them.

Another mini makeover in our bathroom. New prints. I am in love with these!

Speaking of makeovers, has anyone picked this magazine up? My best friend Christi made the cover. It is a great issue. Lots of makeover ideas and hardly any advertisements. So much inspiration out there! Go take a peek!

You should visit http://www.yvestown.com for your chair cover. She has done several. Love the prints.

Katie, personally I love the look now...such a modern cottage feel. I have only done one slip cover, that was a huge undertaking for me. Sorry.
I love the prints! I will check out the stands for the Magazine.

Love your chair's new look! I've only tried my hand at making one slipcover and never finished it. So I'll be interested in any tips people pass along too. I have those prints in a different frame!

I was hoping that you were going to impart your great knowledge of slipcovering. I am sad to hear that it is so tough because I have a few things I wish I could do. Everything looks great!
