We got a snow storm today, the perfect day to make chili in the crock pot. This recipe is so yummy. The only problem with doing a crock pot meal, is that it makes me so hungry all day. I could not wait for dinner tonight!
Chili:
2 lbs ground beef
1 1/2 C. onion
1 1/2 c. green pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 -28 ounce cans whole tomatoes, undrained
1- 15 ounce can kidney beans
2 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons sale
1/4 teaspoon pepper
cook on low for 8-10 hours
cook on high for 4-5 hours
We like lots of stuff in ours, like cheese, sour cream and corn chips, but it is good plain too.

Yummy! Thanks! I always love a good slow cooker recipe and chili is a fave around here.
Thank you, I can't wait to serve it up to my family! Perfect snow day meal!
that looks so good. that is exactly the way that I like to eat it too...lots of sour cream, cheese and corn chips.
This looks awesome! Will totally try. In fact I'm going straight to add the stuff I don't have to my shopping list. Thanks!
Thanks, that looks so good, I am adding it to this weeks menu:>)

I'm eating leftover chili that I made a couple weeks ago...this stuff'll burn your @$$!!!! Chili is so yummy though
us too with the crock pot cooking. My hubby made stwe first thing Sunday morning, so when we got home from town after church we were so hungry. I love stew in the winter.
I am making this tomorrow. I have tried 7 recipes for chili in the last two years and I have yet to find one I like. I like a recipe that that has enough room for add ins at the end! Thanks for sharing it!
Yumm! Now I'm hungry!
