Super Stitching
My husband, Frank got me a fabulous book for Christmas. It is called Super Stitches Knitting. He actually got it because I am a beginner, and after browsing through some other knitting books he thought there would be no way I could ever , possibly know what they mean. Okay.
So, he found this and I have to say, I am so happy. It has every type of stitch you can imagine, with fantastic instructions, that even someone like me can understand. Ahem.
I thought I would make him a little something. This is a twisted rib scarf. I love it because it can almost pass as a cable stitch. I plan on practicing some different techniques, while making scarves, then incorporating some of these fancy stitches in other patterns. I really recommend this book for new, or experienced knitters. There are over 400 different stitches!

I bought that book for my mom for christmas. She loves to knit baby blankets & scarves, she was also pretty excited about the new patterns to use! Can't wait to see your new designs and hers too!
I forgot to tell you I picked up the book at Border's and started using it right away. The salesclerk has it too and says it's one of the best knitting books around!

I don't knit but I crochet. I actually started with knit but it didn't stick with me. I am thinking about trying again. Your scarf is lovely!
