wake up gift for mama

Last night, I was up late making myself a dress. Built by you pattern 3835. I have been eying this for a long time, and every time I went to order it on line, they didn't have my size.
Well.....I was in Joanne's last week, and spotted it for a dollar! Yes, ladies, one dollar. All of their simplicity patterns were five for five dollars! I found some chocolate brown jersey knit on sale, and there, we have an eleven dollar dress....

My favorite part of this pattern is the sleeves. I love the ties on the end. I had already had the pattern all cut out and ironed, and it took me about three hours to sew up it. I can't wait to make the other options on this pattern. I think I am going to make the top next.

I know this picture is a bit blurry, but really, I have the most fun photographer this side of the Mississippi!!

What a cute dress! And $11.00, wow! You never cease to amaze me with how much knitting and sewing you get done. You must be a real whiz at that stuff!

You must never sleep what with all the wake up gifts going on! No seriously, the dress is adorable and the photographer did a great job! I still can't believe that you learned to sew last year!

That dress is totally adorable! I love how simple and cute it is. The sleeves are the best part.

Cute photographer! You are a sewing diva! Very lovely dress! I miss having a Jo-Anns close by. For some strange reason they closed the one 10 min from me. The closest fabric store is Hobby Lobby and that's about 20 mintues away!

Wow, I wish I could sew. You should give lessons on organization and expand on how you clean so fast. Your dress is gorgeous.

You have been a knitting and sewing machine! The dress is fantastic. I don't sew clothes, but 5 for 5, I couldn't pass it up. I bought all sorts of patterns...I have no idea what I will do with them!
