I finished Jack's coat today. The pattern is from Essential Baby. I used Debbie Bliss cotton yarn, in navy blue. Just when I didn't think he could be anymore delicious.....
I love this coat. The pattern went together so nicely. I can't wait to try another one!
i'm knitting the same pattern for 3-6 months, but i'm confused about kintting the left front and pocket. In particular knitting 29 rows and finishing with the WS. The next row (RS) I am supposed to k3 and bind off 13sts and k to end. When i look at the pattern, the pocket is on the wrong side (under the buttons) instead of the on the far end where one would sew the front and back seams together. Any insight would be appreciated. thanks
desiree, i wish i could help! i did not do the pockets, because i just didn't understand it. i am a novice in the knitting department....i hope you figure it out, and if oyu do please let me know! i do want to knit more of these.
Wow! That looks great! I love DB designs for babies! I think I burned out on all the seaming but I need to go back and make more baby sweaters for Beatrix since she's outgrown hers. *sigh*
Ooohhh...that is so cute. I was thinking of making this but wanted to see some other finished ones first. I "googled" it and yours came up - glad it did. Now I will make one for sure. Caroline
