I just finished Anna's pinafore, and overall I am pretty happy with the way it came out. I love, love the seed stitch, but it is really boxy. The pattern was written for a one year old, so my initial thought was to just add about six inches to the length so she could wear it as a dress, but after starting it, I quickly changed my mind, and decided it would look just as cute worn as a top.

Stunning Katie! Your daughter is adorable, and yes I think she likes it too! The color is beautiful and I love it as a babydoll like top too. Your knitting work is always a sight to admire!
Love it...as usual! The colour looks especially nice with her hair and complexion. I also like the quilt she is sitting on (let me guess, you made it right??)...gorgeous!
Very cute! You can tell she likes it. You'll have so much fun making things for her as she grows up. Pretty soon her friends will be wanting you to make things for them too. Ü
It looks very cute on, and very comfy too.
it's adorable on her! i like it as a top. I'm surprised at how quickly you finished it up.
YOU ARE AMAZING! I totally love it. I don't think it's too boxy, just right.
Cute top and cute girl :)
Adorable blanket! Have you made that also?
Hi Katie. First, I love the name Anne. Love it. It was on all three lists of girls names with each pregnancy. Second, I love the top. Great idea to use it in such a way; it is very cute (the model too!). Lastly, super fast knitting. Really. Thanks for sharing.
This is absolutely beautiful (both the knitting and your daughter)!! Your daughter will treasure it - looks very comfy, and not boxy at all.

So cute! You have such a beautiful little girl -- it looks like she's got alot of character, from that mischievous grin she has!
oh so beautiful and nice color and your daughter is so cute!
And that guilt is so pretty too!!!
It's adorable! So funny too because I was at my knit night last night one of the knitters brought the same knit done in purple for her granddaughter for Easter.
