Gwen, found some more vintage fabric, sent it along, and asked me if I could make her a messanger style bag with a longer handle. I was excited because I have wanted to use my small circular handles this way for a while now.

This was the perfect time to do it. I love the way it came out, and I will do this handle again. I have a bunch a these small circular handles, as well as some vintage belt buckles that I think will work well.

I tried really hard to get a good picture of this bag, but I had such a hard time because it is extra long, and every time I hung it somewhere the kids thought it was an invitation to try and swing from it.
Anyway, I love vintage fabric even more now, and Gwen was nice enough to send me some as payment so I can make myself a vintage gem!

And, for your last post, have you ever tried quinoa? I'll have to e-mail you a recipe for it later. It's sooo good!
I love the handle on your bag - what a great idea!!
The fabric is gorgeous too - perfect for spring.

So flippin' cute! I was just at Target today looking at bags. I would have totally bought that one!

What perfect fabric - I like the handles down in that technique.
What a great bag. I love, LOVE, the handles that way. I bet the belt buckes would look really cool like that. It looks great.

The bag is great! the design is so sleek and simple, so having a pretty, busy floral really gives it a fun edge!
