I made a few salads today for us to enjoy this week.
The kids favorite is elbow macaroni, with pickles, tuna and mayo. We are going to have some nice weather this week, and it will be so easy to serve this to the kids on the deck with some apple slices.
If any of you have any other favorite salads, I would love to hear your recipe!

Oh- that looks really good! I love pasta salads :)
Those do look good...got me thinking about making some.
My go-to pasta salad (good warm or cold) is cooked Rotini noodles with a bottle of fat free italian dressing. Throw in some chopped black olives, sliced pepperoni and parmesan cheese and enjoy!
the orzo pasta salad looks delicious. I am a fan of the rotini pasta salad mentioned in the comment above...but I don't use fat free dressing, just the full fat variety. :) happy monday, katie.
The orzo pasta looks very colorful and spring like - yummy.
My 2 don't like tuna!!
Mac and Tuna salad! My kid would eat that! I am going to try it
I throw fruits and cheese in green salads all the time, I have come up with a few very tasty combos...red grapes, red onion and feta (super good if bacon is added, you know, if you are into that sort of thing)-- pears with blue cheese and walnuts....I am making myself hungry.
So lovely salads! I just few days ago made a chickensalad and there happened a miracle, my husband who usually won't eat any salads, he loved this salad...i came so happy!
Have a nice week!
That orzo looks sooo yummy!
Hello. This post is likeable, and your blog is very interesting, congratulations :-). I will add in my blogroll =). If possible gives a last there on my blog, it is about the Servidor, I hope you enjoy. The address is http://servidor-brasil.blogspot.com. A hug.
Oohh those salads look yummo especially the macaroni one... What kind of picles are in it??? I'd love to make it for my family..
Jodie :)
Your salads look great! One of my favorites is cold cheese tortellini with red, green and yellow peppers, red onion, feta cheese and oil & vinegar.
I also love the orzo salad with roasted vegetables and pine nuts from the barefoot Contessa Parties book.
Salads & springtime go together like peanut butter & chocolate. Yum!
MMMmmm, the orzo looks yummy. I like couscous salad in the summer. It has couscous, lemon juice, chick peas, tomatoes, green onion, fresh parmesan, garlic, diced red pepper, cucumber and olive oil. Refrigerate and eat when chilled. The kids even like it :)
Mmmm...that looks good (and healthy). I'm really looking forward to eating more salads. I never seem to want them in the winter. We do alot of chicken ceasar salads in the summer and also salmon on mixed greens with apples and raisins.

I have a great salad for you. It's long, e-mail me if you want to and I send it to you. Your salad looks yummy. We love tuna sandwichs, but I had not thought of it with pasta. I might try it tonight!
