Cropped cardi

I went into my favorite knitting cafe the other day to buy some yarn for my latest obsession, and walked out with something a bit extra.
The pattern for the Cropped Cardigan, from Blue Sky Alpaca. The owner of the shop told me made hers in two days. That sold me. I had the perfect yarn in my stash, and three days later I had a new sweater.

There is a neckline alteration found on Raverly, but I did not see it until I was half way done. It is really low in the back if you knit according to the pattern, but I still like it.

I do love alpaca yarn, but I am wondering if my choice was right for this sweater. It is very floppy, and I had to add a button closure.

I loved the pattern so much, and I will be making it again, with the neck alteration, and some different yarn.

See ya later...Gotta knit!

P.S. I have gotten some emails about not showing up on bloglines. Does anyone know if it is something I can fix, and how to fix it? I am not sure what to do! I have been wondering where everyone went!

I haven't a clue on bloglines - I use Google reader and you're showing up just fine for me. Very, very cute sweater - want to know if you ever sleep or if you just knit 24/7. You're cranking out the projects.

I've been getting your updates on bloglines, so I'm not sure.

You werent the only blog who had some kind of bloglines hiccup.

First I suggest subscribing to your own blog, if you haven't already. That way you can see if your posts are showing up or not. If they are not, then you can email bloglines and they will help you sort it out. Sometimes you have to ping something or other or something like that. (really technical I am, aren't I? LOL)

I love it! I've been looking for something like that - I must check out the pattern!!

You showed up in my bloglines today, but there have been a number of blogs that haven't been showing up, then all in a sudden there was 3-4 entries for them.

So pretty! I think the alpaca adds a very nice drape....more drapey than floppy, imo.

I use google reader, and you've been showing up just fine there. Hope the bloglines issue gets sorted out -- how annoying!
