Some exciting news to share

Yes, some very, very exciting news to share with you.
My mother wrote and published her first children's book. We just got a copy of it yesterday, and the kids love, love, love it.

" The Adventures of Skiff the Harbormaster's Cat is a story about a cat that belongs to Harbormaster Joe. Come along with them as they travel the waters of Casco and Quahog Bay, Maine. Enjoy their many great adventures as they keep everyone safe. "

Of course I am partial to books written about Maine. We are so lucky to live on the coast. This book is filled with big beautiful illustrations of the ocean and all of it's creatures. A dear friend of my mother's, Donna Seabury-Peterson, did all of the illustrations and helped with the writing. It has been a dream come true for both of them, and I am so proud and excited to share it with you.
If you are interested in buying a copy of this book, you can email Karen (my mom ) at skiffthebook@yahoo.com
They are for sale for $13 (this includes shipping)
Good job Mom!

Well done to your Mom. I so envy people who can write books. The last time I wrote a story was at school.
