There is a lady who lives down the road, she digs up flowers from her beautiful garden, and sells them. That is where I go to get all of my perennials, and they thrive. Something about being grown in the same kind of soil, in the same town, planted only days after she has dug them up, is so special.
We go out once a week, and pick as many flowers as we can. Right now, hydrangea and cone flower, garden phlox and bee balm are my favorite.
Sunflowers are ready here too, mine didn't make it this year, but I know I will find some at the farmer's market.
I think those are my favorite..... yes, sunflowers are my favorite flower.
