The thing about being one....

The thing about being one is, your mama can make you a sweater in August, for Christmas, and you get to model it for her blog, because you will probably forget about it in four months.

I finally finished this sweater. It's not my favorite, lots of seaming, which I am not good at, and the sleeves were way too big for the arm holes. I am sure I did something wrong, I am just not sure what, and I am too lazy to try to fix them.
I made size 6-12 months, and he usually wears a size 2T. I think this pattern runs really big, especially through the shoulders.
I do like it, and really, he loves it. There was a full blown temper tantrum when I took it off of him. That is the only thing that counts, right?

The Details:
Pattern: Shawl Collar Sweater from Debbie Bliss Essential Baby
Yarn: Shetland Chunky 2.5 balls, white
I do love that book, and this is the third pattern I have made from it, love it when that happens.

I'm a huge Debbie Bliss fan. Her finished projects are alway beautiful in their simplicity, know what I mean? Just clean lines. Darling sweater but the baby himself is too cute!

Cute little sweater--you are such a fast knitter! Just curious--what colour did you paint the walls in your house? I love the colour.
