This one is not for me

I started Sarena last week, and was pleased to finish it up really quickly. This is a great beginner pattern. If you can knit, purl, cast on and off, you can make this.
I made it for someone special, to keep them warm this winter. I think it will be loved. I was looking for a pattern that would look great dressed up, but could also be a favorite night time sweater to curl up in.

Pattern: Sarena (it's free!)
I used an alpaca merino blend, left over from my cropped cardi, I am not sure how much. I doubled the yarn, and used size 10 needles, so it went extra fast.
I love shrugs. They are so cozy, and glamorous, all at the same time.
Don't ya think?

I'd like to think that one day I'll be able to knit as you do, but in the meantime, I'll enjoy your work which is so beautiful. The shrug is a wonderful gift.

I'm still burned from my recent attempt at the Hourglass Sweater, but this pattern may get me back into the swing of things. It would look nice from all that silk that I'll have once I frog the sweater.

*Sigh* They don't always turn out I guess.
