Today was really, really, good. Addison marched in like he owned the place. He gets to go to school where I went to school. I swear, half of my heart is still there. I loved that place. He will too, I just know it.
So thank you, thank you so much.
All this back to school hustle and bustle, chilly evenings, and windy days have put me in the mood to knit with orange.
I also started the Offset Wraplan (For Jack) this weekend. I am using Cascade 220 super wash for this. I simply love the color. It reminds me of candy corn. I will have finished shots for you later this week.

Absolutely gorgeous shades of orange. Definitely feels like Fall...all the way down here! And the Offset Wraplan for your littlest one is a gem. Can't wait to see it! Beautiful work as always and a delight to follow along.
Oh those are looking great - I love the colors of the orange. And yes, fall is coming (although it's 90 degress here right now). Glad he is liking school!

Orange goes with everything in my book. Favorite color.
And my aren't you brave with your cable knitting and coats and all.

Both sweaters are beautiful colors, and wow, cables - they look great!

Oh my gosh, that Cable Cardigan looks so great! I love the look and can't wait to see yours! (will have to keep an eye out for that magazine)
Your knitting is so beautiful! I bought the Fitted Knits book and love love love it. I'm going to try to knit the tunic. Do you knit quickly? I'm so slow it seems to take me forever to knit anything. I suppose with practice I'll get faster. The neck warmer looks so cozy, too!
I love orange. Those are so lovely!!
Let me know when you're ready to start knitting for my kids!
I felt the same way sending my 5-year old off this morning. Jack had so little alone time with me before his brother and sister joined the family. He did great today, but told me he cried when he realized he didn't miss me as much as he thought he should. Broke my heart... Such milestones we mommies are hitting. But know he's where he should be.
Oooh I saw the DB mag adversized in the IK magazine and I just HAVE to have it! Now I need to go on a hunt for it, not sure if my LYS will have it that soon, or even my local Barnes and Noble?!
Love the orange color you are working with. I started 'Spook' in orange a few months ago, and now it's by the wayside cos of holiday knitting :-/
