As I was knitting, I kept trying it on, and was getting worried about this yarn. I was starting to think it was a bit too bulky for me, but I was wrong. I gave it a nice spritz, put some towels on it and steamed it for a bit, and now it is a very nice fabric. My boys think it is so cozy, and Addison loves the smell of the wool.
I stopped knitting when I got to my knee. I have so many projects in my head right now, I decided enough was enough.
Pattern: Neck Down Hooded Cardigan from Knitting Pure and Simple
Yarn: Eco wool in chocolate, about 2.1 hanks
Mods: I knit the smallest size, and did not do all the increases for the back gusset. I wanted it to be more straight, and less A-line. I did about half of the increases.
I also knit about 8 inches of ribbing on the sleeves, instead of doing the garter stitch.
I will be back sometime next week. I am headed off to a special weekend with some of my best girls from college. Have a great rest of the week!

Honest? I'm VERY tempted by this sweater of yours.
It's GORGEOUS!
Tell me seriously though - how difficult was this? Is my brain going to hurt from doing math or following complicated line by line pattern instructions?
I must know.

Hello - I've just blogged about tea and pregnancy. Did you drink teas (or infusions) during your pregnancies? If so, I'd love to hear your opinion!
