A Hat for Hubby

I loved knitting with the Cascade Tweed so much, I had to make something else with it. I decided to make a hat for my husband (Shhhh...it's going to be a stocking stuffer.)
He does not like scratchy hats. This is the perfect yarn. It is wool so it will be warm, but not itchy at all.

The Details:
Pattern: Basic Roll Brim Hat, from Last-Minute Knitted Gifts
Yarn: Cascade Tweed and TLC Cotton Plus
Time: about a day

I have about 500 yards of my Tweedy goodness left. I want to make a sweater for Addison. Something a bit preppy. I have not been able to find a good pattern that I love.
Any suggestions?

Love the yarn colours in the hat - pefect for a man. I wish it got cold enough here to need a knitted hat in winter - I am so inspired by all your lovely knitting projects. Sadly our winters are too mild to warrant much knitted goodness.

Yeah, I love that toque. I made one for my hubby and for myself. These toques are so much fun to knit and take no time at all. I love the stripes in yours. I am going to experiment with a lighter version made of merino for going our running in.

Hi!
I´m always a "quiet" reader of your blog, but now I have to comment! This hat is absolutely beautiful, well done!
I´m curious what you will do with the rest of the wool, hehe. Let us know!
I wish you a nice weekend and many greetings from Germany!

You are an amazing knitter--How do you have time to do so much so fast?

Great hat! It looks pretty good on you too. You may need a matching one. haha. I've made my boyfriend a couple of hats for Christmas, and I like both of them - that way I can steal them from him every once in a while! haha!
