Anyway, I finished Lauren last weekend. I have had this yarn in my stash for a long time now, and was waiting for the perfect pattern. After taking sometime to look on Ravelry for a few hours one night (such a luxury) I found this pattern, and fell in love. I feel like between Flickr, my blog, Ravelry, and Facebook, I never really take the time to spend more than a little bit of time on each. It was so much to sit and really explore on Ravelry.
Pattern: Lauren, by Weaver Knits
Yarn: Cascade Heathers 220, five hanks
Size: 36
No alterations here. I love the pattern. One of my favorites so far. I can see my self making one in green and black too.

I am officially obsessed with this sweater. I actually got out my needles the other evening and finished/fixed the last of my projects. Now I'm ready to start something new! This would be perfect! Believe it or not, I've never knitted something for myself!
Oh, yes. It's VERY beautiful. I love the offset buttons, too. And the blue definitely looks good on you. Goes so well with the jeans, too.
Good it was nothing too serious with your computer. It is nice to have time away, but with all there is to see, do and learn on the net, well, it's a wonderful tool and place to mingle. Glad you're here. Enjoy. :)
Your sweater is absolutely beautiful! And you should definitely wear blue more often. I love the offset button also. You always amaze me!

I love the color, too! I was never a fan of offset buttons, but this sweater changes my mind on that. Its really beautiful.
I absolutely love this sweater and especially the blue colour. It looks great on you and so nice with jeans. Great buttons too!
Your knits are are always lovely and I enjoy seeing them. Gets me inspired to spend more time knitting too!!
As always, it looks fabulous! I need a new knitting project - went to the store today to pick up yarn for Francis Revisited, but alas, they didn't have a great selection. Guess I'll have to wait a few more days until the yarn comes in the mail!
Love the cable and offset buttons - very stylish! Such a pretty shade of blue.
I absolutely love this sweater. Would you ever consider making one and selling it-say to me?!? I'm a quilter-not a knitter. I seriously wish I was, but I just can't get the hang of it.
I love your sweater. I'm going to have to search it out on ravelry and then take a deep breath and perhaps start out on my first sweater!
Gorgeous! I adore the color.
The sweater is beautiful - I'm not a blue person either. Green is my color. The blue is really pretty.
AMAZING. I absolutely love it, especially the color.
Welcome back! Very pretty. I love the cable work and the color is gorgeous!
Love this sweater - this just may give me the push to inspire me to really learn how to knit. It's beautiful!!!

Jodie :)
that is freakin gorgeous. I can't believe how fast you whip up these things!!! I have major sweater envy now. This one might be one of my favorites!
Katie, Of course you look good in Blue! You look good in every color. I'm not just saying that either:)
It's gorgeous, and yes, you look fabulous in blue!
I've been afraid of cables (due to the unknown factor), but I may give this one a try :)
This is gorgeous! You are the fastest knitter alive!!!!
It's very lovely! The color is great.
I. Cannot. Believe. It. I love the color-the buttons, the cables-and it is suh flattering-great job! I am thinking of making some little gingerbread houses for your babes to decorate. When would be a good day & time to do that in the next couple of weeks? I can bring them to you and the babes can play, not sure of your nap times... Sundays Chris can come too and oversee Ava, she may be a bit too small for such activities...Though Anna was not much older that year we decorated a house?!?
Wow, another gorgeous FO! I love the asymmetrical look. It's so chic and hip! How long did it take you to knit?
nice job Katie! I dare not sign up for ravelry...I spend way too much time on the computer the way it is!
It's gorgeous. As always, you are amazing.
This is very cute on you! One in green and black would be wonderful too!

I know what you mean about blue. I never make things for myself in blue, but I bet it looks great.
The craftsmanship alone is amazing. :)

it is gorgeous. and fits you perfectly.
another one to add to my list!
I love, love, love this sweater. Since I have zero skills at knitting or sewing I will have to admire it on you. The blue is gorgeous! I am a wee bit jealous...can you tell?
Amazing! You have great taste in the sweaters you chose. Are you teaching those kids of yours to knit yet?
