Inspiration

Last night, I sat down to finish Jack's robe. So glad it is done. Just like Addison's, with matching pants. I am a little burned out on making robes at the moment.
It went together in a flash. The whole time my mine was some place else though.

I went to visit Sarah yesterday and saw these sweet little birds she has been making. She is attaching them to gifts. It inspired me.

Suddenly inspiration turned into a frantic fever. Does that happen to anyone else?

As you can tell from my post last week, we love birds. You can find the pattern here and more inspiration here. I used the machine, but you could hand sew them too. I think you need one.... or seven.
Happy sewing.

They are adorable, but I really love how you've nested them and lined them up on the windowsill. Too cute and a fun, little photo shoot!

I LOVE these-especially the one with the pink rose on its back-just darling!

It is all wonderful. I love the birds. If I wasn't feeling totally Christmas overwhelmed, I would whip a couple up ASAP. I guess it will have to wait until after the holidays.

So pretty! I've been knitting birds like crazy from the Purl Bee pattern. To say I'm obsessed would be an understatement. LOVE THEM!

I can just see a flock of birds swaying over Aidan's little crib. I may have a new project for January. Thanks for always providing some inspiration!

yes, inspiration often sends me into a frenzy...like this week when I decided to make ornaments for all my family. Um, why am I staying up till midnight each night sewing?? Oh yea, this was just going to be an "simple" project. haah.
Your little birds (and your robes) are adorable. Great work!

Ha - I just went to Spool to print the pattern and saw her mobile. It is definitely on the list for 2009! Thanks again.

Really cute!! I have no idea what I'd need a bunch of birdies for, but now I have to think of something...

Those are so cute! My plate is full...otherwise I'd definitely make a few of those. They'd look great on a tree!
