Back at it

If you celebrate this time of year, how was it? Was it good? Oh, I hope it was good. We had a lovely Holiday. My heart sank a bit when we took down the tree the other day. Then, a bit more when I dropped Addison off at school this morning. We all took a much needed vacation from our usual routine these past few weeks, but today we are back at it.

Back to mornings of rushing out the door, coming home to enjoy a morning snack. Watching Jack line up his clementine before he eats it.
Back to morning knitting, and a cup of tea.

And Blogging. Yes, back to blogging. Every afternoon after putting the kids down for a nap, I rush down stairs, sink into my chair and share a little piece of my world. It is such an outlet for me. A place to think, create and share with friends, mothers, my blogging sisters.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to visit me. It means a lot.

Thank you.
So much.

I love your white daisies. Did someone make the butterflies? I like them they remind me spring will be back around one of these days! Love your blog.

Happy, happy 2009! So good you had a lovely holiday time of family, play & rest. My tree is still up until tomorrow. Honestly? I'm a bit anxious to get it down. I'll know then that we, too, are all completely back in a routine. For today...errands, housecleaning and plenty of ironing! Once that's out of the way, however...blissful, happy sewing time. :)

I have been following your blog for a while. I don't even remember now how I found it in the first place...but I always enjoy your simple and striking pictures and the short snippets of your life.

Thank you and happy new year!

*sigh*

Your photos make it all look so peaceful.

We took our tree down this weekend -- took it all down, actually... It was nice to finally be free of the clutter and feel clean and open again. It's a good feeling, this starting fresh.

Love the daisies. xo

Gorgeous! As Always. And I was all ready to get everybody back into a routine. After the week right before Christmas Break was canceled due to snow (all 5 days) I was ready for a schedule! So everybody up and dressed, backpack full! And NO SCHOOL. It is a teacher work day. Who knew..............

It was a good holiday. I have to admit that I am glad to have life coming back to normal. If I had kids at home, I would feel the same as you though. Love the birds!!

Beautiful photos.
It feels nice to be back in the daily routine. But also a bummer to know that two weeks of playing and NOT cleaning house are gone.
Happy New Year!

Hooray! Katie, I'm so glad to have "found" you. I'd love your blog anyway, but for some reason it's even sweeter for having gone to the same elementary school. :)

wow-what a great feeling post :) It's interesting to hear your daily ins-and-outs, and to hear you put the kids down for a nap then rush to the comp for your daily blog posting. I in the same way meander to your blog- when the little one is napping or sleeping- and I may steal away a few minutes online. I find myself looking forward to your new creations :) Thank you!

It's nice to be back to the normal routine isn't it? I was actually giddy dropping the oldest off at school yesterday and seeing my hubby depart for work...ah...my space is back. :) Of course the laundry pile I have been neglecting took over my entire day.
