Bitten
Yes, I have been bit by the bug of quilted deliciousness. I have lots of quilts planned for this year.
This is the first time I have made my own binding, and done free motion quilting. I am so glad I just took the plunge and did it. If it weren't for Amandajean and all of her great videos, tutorials, and commitment to answering so many questions a day about quilting, I never would have dared.

LOVE THIS!! Absolutely love your quilt and the greens.
Welcome to the quilting addicts club. It's chronically wonderful.
Happy sewing!
I have a huge crush on you! I have three kids, as you know, roughly the same ages as yours, and I don't accomplish a third of what you do! Rock on, Katie. I bow to you!!!
This is so lovely! Green is my most favorite color, and it works so well here. I am working up the nerve to try free motion quilting. I have everything I need except for the courage. Seeing your awesome quilt gives me a push in the right direction! Thank you for sharing!
Love your quilt - very, very, very pretty and good! Isn't it great? I cannot wait to see what you come up with next. And that fudge sounds yummy - I"m going to stop on my way home tomorrow and buy the stuff to make it!

That is a beautiful quilt! I love the simplicity of it...great job!
I love that quilt! Simple pattern and awesome color combinations. Those are my favorite colors.
I am planning on a lot of quilts this year as well. So far though, school was keeping me away even from blogging.
I keep my hopes up.
Wow, love the quilt, great colours and I love the white.
Wow. It is so fresh looking! I can honestly say that green is not really a color I've been drawn to, but seeing it in your quilt (and other green and white ones) make me want to do one because it is just so fresh beautiful.
Oh that is just so beautiful. I love it. White and green are so clean together.
This is A-Mazing! love it! AND by the way, I got the coolest handbag in the mail that traveled coast to coast and looks perfect! No ironing needed! Filled it up and took it to church today. I feel like a total winner! Thank you.
How completely brilliant are you!!! That's gorgeous! I love green and it is so fresh with the white - really lovely. Great job!
I love this quilt. Green is my signature color. I love it. I would never have thought of a brown binding, and it works so well. I have much to learn about color combinations in quilting. Congrats!
Briliant jog on the quilt - green and white looks so fresh together.
Welcome to the club. Warning: it's deliciously fun and addicting. Once you start, you can't stop!!!
It's absolutely lovely! The green is bright, cheerful yet warm. Rock on in your free motion quilting and binding. I'm soooo impressed!
Love it! You are so brave...I have yet to quilt my own, but hope to try one soon.
I could literally sit down with a spoon and eat this quilt! The colors you chose are just delish-what kind of white fabric did you use on the front? Muslin, or is it a tiny print? Making your own binding is a huge accomplishment-congratulations! Abel will treasure it for years and years!
LOve that color of green and what a great job.
ooh, it's beautiful! i love the color combination.
It's absolutely beautiful. The colors are stunning. So crisp and clean.
I love all your quilts. I really want 2009 to be a year of doing new things and this whole quilt thing is one of them. I am so nervous about starting.....reading your blog is both inspiring and daunting (everything looks beautiful).
Love the green and white! Green has been my favorite color this year. And I am inspired by your free motion quilting - learning to free motion quilt is on my to do list for 2009 but I am so nervous to try it.
Wow...that is just beautiful. What a great color combo. I MUST learn to quilt...
Gorgeous!
Beautiful, I absolutely love this quilt! The combo of green and white is so fresh and though I'm usually content with whatever season it is, this really makes me long for spring.
LOVE the greens!
i LOVE all of the white!!!
the binding! the colors!
your nephew will surely have a crush on you, too! :)
Can I just be you...you are so amazing! I wish I had just the talent you have in your pinkie finger! Beautiful quilt! I was in a quilt shop the other day because I am having someone else make my new baby crib bedding and was drooling over all the quilts on display. The gals their make it sound like it is so easy to learn. Hmmm....thanks for the inspiration!
The greens on that white are so clean and spritely! Lovely work and I am enjoying your blog via Ravenhill. Congratulations on your award!
