Getting my cable on

Is it spring where you are?
Spring in Maine means lots of rainy days, and temperatures that can't seem to get out of the forty's. Perfect weather for these Maggie Armwarmers.

I love all the cables. These were kind of quick, I think three days from start to finish. This my first time making a thumb gusset.

The Details:
Go ahead, the pattern is free. You know you want some!

Oh yes - very cute! Thankfully spring in NorCal means 70 degrees+ and skirts, so my wrist warmers are at work, where I will need them in a month or so when the A/C gets cranked to counteract the 80+ degree temps. Wee.

I love 'em! Those cables are one of my goals in knitting this year...if I make a cable sweater, I'll meet two!

Even though it's spring in San Diego, I find that my hands get chilled real easy. Those look amazing.

Sounds exactly like the weather here! And that color is so awesome. Cables are so awesome because I feel like that give maximum effect while being pretty easy to execute!

Beautiful, I love the color! Where are you purchasing your Cascade yarn? I went to Halcyon for the first time yesterday-there was a lot of yarn, but not a lot of the type I want to knit with...though I did splurge on a little Debbie Bliss...
