The green polka-dot pants were made from a skirt I bought three years ago that I never wore. She loves looking at all my skirts now, thinking they will be made into something for her to wear.
Pattern: Girls capped sleeve spring top-another free one!
Yarn: Cascade Sierra, about one skein
Mods: I cast on 62 stitches because I was using worsted weight yarn instead of DK weight. Instead of knitting 15 rounds after the increases, I knit 13 then where the sleeves are I knit a P1 K1 rib for 35 stitches on each side. I then cast off the 35 (instead of 40) for the sleeves. I also added two rows of ribbing on the bottom.
The details on the pants:
I used an old skirt of mine and laid this pattern right on top, matching the bottom of the pattern to the bottom of the skirt. No hemming necessary.
Oh, and the Hello Kitty sandals are from Target.

Adorable, just adorable, that knit, those delicious pants. Your daughter is such a cutie, for sure, and I love it when a little girl knows her mind, knows her own style!
