Sewing and knitting in between taking the kids for long walks and play at the park during the moments when the rain stops. Hubby gets back from a business trip and his job will be to man the grill on Sunday and Monday.
We've got some picnics and maybe some strawberry picking in the short list for the weekend. I would love some time to sit and knit! Have a great holiday! Your hostas are beautiful. I never think to cut the leaves, they look so pretty in that vase.
i think i have some of these beautiful plants in my yard...we just moved in during the winter and now things are popping up like little presents all over the place. What are they?
Love the hostas! I just planted some in the front yard. Babies compared to yours. I took a sewing class tonight and hope to sew a cape for my daughter this weekend. The rest of the weekend--chores, wine, chores, wine, wine. Enjoy yourself!
I don't know. I'm glad that you reminded me that there's no school on Monday, though - I never know which of the holidays marked on the calendar are actual day off school holidays...
Today here I been in the recycling store and bought small crocheted tablecloths like yours. For sew them onto linen, like yours... but I need more of them : )
You sound happy and your hostas look so pretty in your vase. I like the sound of a lobster bake. I love lobster!!!! I am playing in my garden this weekend. I am going to go around to every single one of my blooming rose bushes and sniff away the day! Then I will sit on my garden bench and just savor the moments.
Mmm. Lobster bake. From way over here in the south eastern bit of Australia that has always sounded like the be all and end all of best-ever things to be invited to on a weekend.
Your weekend sounds great- especially the lobster bake. mmm. We had a quiet but good weekend too. Lots of backyard tidying up, watching things bloom and yummy food.

I don't know what type of plant that is, but it looks beautiful! Almost like a flower, but I'm guessing a lettuce-like vegetable?
(Not sure why, but it makes me think of Rapunzel.)

I'm 100% in the garden this weekend. My lettuce is planted. Tomorrow it's all about the peppers and tomatoes!

Quilting and dyeing yarn inside and watching the rain. Your weekend sounds lovely!
Finishing a quilt top for a teachers retirement gift from my 2nd graders class.
Getting together with friends.
Crocheting some hemstitched baby blankets for gifts.
Reading.
Playing with the kiddos.
Watching a movie with the Cute Guy (dh).
Just trying to unwind and enjoy a quiet pace of life.
And as always.. I'm sure I'll start some new project.
We're doing the typical bbq. But we'll be with family, so all is good! I love weekends. I wish life were one big weekend....!
Lovely hostas! I'm in training for a week-long bicycle tour, so I'll be pedaling a bunch, and having a bbq with some friends. Hope yours is great!
PS - I should count this for the "Green" tea theme I've got going!
