Shopping Tunic

As excited as I was to knit this, I am kind of blahhh about it. It is my own fault though. I kind of felted it a tiny bit. Ahem.
I have been trying very hard to use up my stash. I had some Paton's merino, and some Thick and Quick in black. I held them together, knit it up, blocked it.
It was taking forever to dry, so I forgot about the Paton's wool and thought, oh I can just toss this acrylic yarn in the dryer for a bit.

It hit me when it came out looking a bit fuzzy. Thank god it still fits. Oh well, I am sure I will wear it this fall.

The details:
Pattern: Shoping Tunic, Big City Knits
Yarn: Paton's merino wool in black, held together with Lion Brand Thick and Quick on size 17 needles.
Mods: I knit the meduim, making it a few rows longer than the pattern called for, added one extra increase for the bust line.

Now, I am trying like mad to use up yarn I already have for some smaller projects, while knitting my Fireside sweater at night.
We shall see how long this will last.
