This Weekend

This weekend we picked lots of flowers.

I love the hydrangeas with the Queen Ann Lace. Some people call it cow parsley. Some call it a weed. I love it though.

The Raspberries are ripe here! I saw a sign in front of a Farm Stand, and we bought up all they had. We made this, using Raspberries instead of the cherries but any fruit will do. It is so good! We had some for breakfast.

We ate lots of these too. Have you ever?

Well, you should.

I just made some for the very first time, ever, this year. They are delish. What a great idea to make them with reese's peanut butter cups. I have to give it a try!

No I have not done that...but it won't be for long! I'm picking up peanutbutter cups this afternoon! I love queen anne's lace. We used to live near a hay field and as a kid I would collect bouquets of it for the table.

I have always loved Queen Anne's Lace. When I was a little girl, it grew by the back fence in our yard. I used to pick it and put it in a tiny glass vase for my bedside table.

Your raspberry dessert looks SO good! I have to try it.

Oh my goodness. My favorite whiteness - white hydrangeas and queen anne's lace. What a perfect combo. I wish I could grow hydrangeas, but it is a bit too cool here. My mom who lives on Vancouver Island has tons of the most wonderful hydrangea bushes.

okay, seriously - did you write this post just for me??? the flowers look very similar to my limelight hydrangea - which is my favorite, I definitely need to make that raspberry treat, and honestly, s'mores were my favorite until I saw your version!!!
I am so happy you left a comment so that I could find your blog - it is simply divine!

Lovely flowers and yummy dessert! My son is allergic to peanuts so we have to sneak our peanut eating in when he is not around.
