A Blanket for A Wee one, and a Wee Announcement of my Own

Okay, I realize that the title may make it sound as though I am expecting another child, but I am not. It is a different kind of announcement that is not nearly as exciting as having a babe!
However, a friend of mine is having a girl this winter and I just finished a blanket for her.

I used lots of vintage sheet scraps that I love and framed it with white bleached muslin. It was a fun project that took about two nights to make.

I hope my friend and her little girl love it and get lots of use out of it.

Now, for my other announcement....
I am going to start working on my neglected Etsy shop again. I want to do something a little different this time. There will be more pillows, because I can only own so many burlap, linen or canvas pillows with letters painted on them.
There will also be some bigger things- hint, hint.
Some smaller things- pssst look over here notice the first picture.
And some new things, that I will leave as a surprise.
I love to thrift, so there may be tiny antique treasures too.
I am not sure when, but I am thinking after school starts.
Oh, August stop happening so fast!
