Progress

The front porch is coming along.
I am smitten.
In love is more like it.
You know how it takes a while to get used to new things in your home? It usually takes me a good two weeks.
Not this time.
I feel like this has always been here.
Oh, the knitting that will happen on that porch.
Those of you who know me realize I already have the furniture painted, and the pumpkins ready, right?
Can you tell I am excited?
P.S. Can you see Anna in the window? She is supposed to be napping. She has done that everyday this week. She is supposed to be sleeping, but is "watching the guys" instead. Ahem.
I think I may have my hands full in about nine years......

Oh it is lovely!!!! I can't wait to see your pumpkins and furniture:) It won't be 9 years from now that you will have your hands full - just wait about 4 or 5 and she will give you a run for your money:)

That looks sooo good! I can't believe the progress but I guess that is what happens when you hire it out right? In my neck of the woods we do it pretty much all ourselves. Hire it out? Get it done in a timely manner? Heaven. Can't wait to see the finished products with all of your cute painted chairs and pumpkins!

I can't wait to see what you do with this. I love porches - the best place to knit, hang out with the kids and enjoy the days of life

I am a porchaholic so you know I love your house now!!! What a difference this makes in not only the look of your house but also in the usability of it. Wish I were near by to spend a bit of time out there with you, sigh! Enjoy the heck out of it!

Your front porch looks like the most perfect addition to your lovely home. You are going to have so much fun decorating, entertaining, and just quietly sitting on a rocking chair while sipping a drink.
