I wanted to share a great salsa recipe with you.
Of course it is easier to make in the summer with local, fresh veggies, especially if you have a garden. I do make it in the winter too because we love it. Fresh salsa is so much better than anything else out there.
My kids eat a ton of it, such a good way to get them to eat lots of vegetables.
10 tomatoes (plum)
4 scallions
2 Jalapeno peppers ( be sure to wear gloves when chopping )
4 Tablespoons cilantro
4 tsp. fresh lime juice
1 tsp. salt
Chop all ingredients, combine and refrigerate.
First I tried this. As much as loved it, it grew and grew, so I frogged it.
Next I knit this. Loved this one too, but I knew I was going to have the same problem. If there is one thing I can not stand is having a sweater fall off my shoulders.
The third time is a charm, right?
Modeled pictures and more details coming soon.
This one will be a keeper, for sure~!

Yummy salsa. And the sweater? Can't wait to see it on you. Lovely color - it should be great.

I hope it works out this time - I do love orange!
LOVE that you had the courage to rip it to make something you are going to enjoy wearing! looks like third time's a charm - all that ribbing will ensure it fit's you beautifully. and i am totally jealous that your kiddos eat a ton of fresh salsa.
Fresh salsa (all the time!) is amazing. I do love that orange sweater, too@
