I just wanted to stop in to say I will be away from my blog for a bit.
We are knee deep in projects and it is Spring vacation next week.
Our front yard is a mess right now. We are adding dirt, a french drain, and some grass to stop the flooding in our yard. While we were at it, we decided to add a path from the porch to the driveway.
While you are knee deep in mud, why not paint your bedroom too? Not just any color, how about a light chocolate brown. Milk chocolate, if you will. This messy painter is determined to learn how to paint well.
So in the next few weeks, we will be very busy, but I will return with some finished projects to show you.
I also have to say thank you. Thank you for coming to visit me all the time. I know I tend to jump around from thing to thing over here.
Talk to you in a few weeks~

Your new walkway and milk chocolate walls are lovely!! Can't wait to see what new projects you have to show when you come back. Have fun!
Have a great vacation decorating. You will be missed and can't wait to see finished projects
Ah, this messy painter ruined her favorite jeans this weekend using Restoration Hardware Linen. Pretty, but on jeans. We need a French Drain too, but it must wait on other projects. Enjoy your break!
Have fun!
have fun with all the projects...enjoy your break!
Installed a French drain three weeks ago, laid a dry creek bed, reseeded the lawn, planted flowers...ready to sit and knit a while. Don't be gone too long, please.
Enjoy your time with your family! I can't wait to see all of your finished projects. I always enjoy your site.
enjoy your break, katie.
can't wait to see all you do!!!
Thank you for signing off! You are so good at that! I hear you, we just finished fencing in the back yard, seeing the lawn and don't panick if you drive by, we do have a POD thing in our driveway, we aren't moving, just finally and forever cleaning out the garage to organize props and make a workshop. I love your path! Happy spring break, talk to you soon and if you find yourself running out of steam and headed to the playground, let me know, maybe Ava and I can meet you there!
Enjoy your "blog vacation". Looks like you have some great projects going there.
Have a good time finishing all of your projects--I am sure you will surprise us with some finished knitting projects as well!

I have a bunch of painting that needs doing. I'm getting good at coming up with excuses, though...
I am just in love with that chocolate brown color of your room. Brown can be a scary color to paint and your room turned out just lovely--I do admire your decorating so much!! Have a great spring break!
What a lovely walk!
Enjoy your spring break and happy painting. Looking forward to seeing what you were up to.
Goodness your home is just beautiful-and it looks just SO cozy! The pavers look perfect.
