I really should not paint. I am that messy painter.
You know, the one that steps off the ladder right into the paint tray.
The one with paint all over her hair.
You know the type.
It is dreadful.

Hmmm.
Don't ever ask me to help you paint.
You will regret it.
(Lichen by Behr- it looks really pink on my computer, but it is a true linen color)
You know me, with all the white.
I am still getting used to it. It might be chocolate brown in a few weeks.
What do you think?

leave it! it's great for spring!
i'm constantly repainting doors. my husband thinks i've added an inch of paint already! your baths look beautiful. i'm going to do mine soon.
I love that pop of color on the yellow door!
Well you might be a messy painter but the end results are so pretty and your door looks pretty for spring!

I love the door! It is a metal door? I really want to paint ours but have read that painting a metal door can be problematic. Did you do anything special to prep it?
I think that I am still trying to figure out how to get paint off my ipod. This kindred spirit knows of what you speak. The rooms look gorgeous!
i love the color of your front door - very spring like! i just painted tyler's room and i HATE cutting everything in - especially since i did it 3 different colors. love your bathrooms too!

Your paint projects looks amazing!
I like the front door colour for spring and summer. If you aren't sure then wait until later in the summer to repaint it. I can't count how many colours our front doors have been!!!
I have the paint chip deck out for the living/dining room area and can't decide? Must be painting fever along with my spring fever this year. Or every year...
Love the colors you picked. The front door is beautiful!
I too am a messy painter. I love the idea of painting but am never happy with the colors I pick. Maybe I should just copy other people and their colors,LOL.
You are great with colors. Your home looks very warm and cozy.
I love the color! Brown would be too dark. Enjoy it for awhile. It can always be painted again...
I love it! Your house needs to be in a Country Living photoshoot. It's great!
well you would never know you are not an expert painter because the house looks amazing!!! i am that painter too..the one who will do the impossible like fall off the ladder holding a roller of paint and knock the paint tray onto the floor and get paint EVERYWHERE!
Well, I see no traces of messiness. Everything looks beautiful! And I absolutely adore the golden door.
All the rooms looks so fresh and the door looks pleasant in that color.
Your home always looks so beautiful and inviting!
Love the front door color! Though won't people be surprised to walk through that door and find your house awash in whites and tans ;)
A fresh coat of paint is so refreshing---I painted at a friend's house last week--it was fun but, I too, am that messy painter!
That door is awesome. I'm an awful painter too. I just wait for my husband to help. Maybe that's why nothing has been painted yet? We've almost been here for 2 years. I guess I should just do it, messy or not.
LOVE IT!! I love it all-especially the "lichen" colour in the bathroom. I've been looking for a colour like that. Also...I am a horribly messy painter...horribly :)
I vote chocolate brown :)
Love the bathrooms!!!!
Oh, the color on the door is perfect to set off the rest of the white!
Please decorate my house.
I love your blog-was SO disappointed when I couldn't find your shop-was crossing my fingers for one of your beautiful sweaters!! I will keep watching for photos of your beautiful home and more projects to come...thank you for a delightful visit!
