We love granola. I made it for the first time the other day.

We are so lucky that my dad keeps us stocked with honey- from his own bees and maple syrup from his own trees!

I followed this recipe, and it was a hit.
I like the organic oats from the bulk section in the grocery store, and I did add some coconut after it was done baking.
It is so filling with fruit and yogurt and the kids love it in their lunch with some chocolate chips.
P.S. Some of you asked about the cake...
I did have a small piece on Thursday, and then I had a huge piece on Saturday.
For breakfast.
I ate it over the kitchen sink.
It was a bit out of control.

My kids love granola and yogurt for breakfast - i'll have to make some of this - we go through granola bars like crazy around here.....thanks for posting!

Your granola looks yummy. And I completely agree that food - even cake - tastes better when eaten over the kitchen sink, preferably off a cutting board!
