I have been wanting to try a Challah Bread recipe for ages now.
I like a recipe that calls for just a few ingredients.
This one calls for 8 cups of flour. I used 4 cups of white unbleached flour, and four cups of whole wheat flour.
I nestled some fresh eggs from our hens and cooked them with the bread.
I highly recommend this.
A warm slice of this bread, with a cooked egg, a slice of cheddar, and a dash of salt is perfection!
