Peanut Butter Pie



I am not going to go on and on about how much you will love this pie.
I won't tell you how easy it is, or that you won't even need to turn on your oven.
I am not going to mention that a few people have told me that this pie is the best thing they have ever eaten.
If I told you this pie is like eating frosting with the consistency of perfect soft serve ice cream, yet somehow is not too sweet, that would not be fair to all the other pies.
So, I won't say anything but this- make the damn pie.


1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 container of cool whip, thawed
1 chocolate crumb crust- now you can buy the pre-made crust, I have done it before.  However, if you want to showoff do a little something extra here, this would be a good time.  Grab a bag of the double stuff Oreos (I know, just do it) put them in the food processor, then press them into a spring form pan with a half stick of melted butter. 

In a mixing bowl beat all ingredients except cool whip until smooth.  Gently fold in the cool whip.
Pour into crust and let freeze at least four hours before serving.

Try not to think about the Oreo and butter combination too much.  It is worth it.
