You are, in my humble opinion, a gifted writer. As a parent of two former "tween" girls, i can relate. However, your use of foul language shows a bad example, to your tweens. I suspect they are mimicing your way of talking when you are not around. The best way to "teach" your kids is to lead by example. Then, i read your idea of "clever" when you used a word that many consider as "the highest praise" to God almighty and you insert a curse word in the middle! Tsk, tsk. You need to consider your life example. Our kids tend to magnify their parent's ways, good and bad. Keep writing your very good stories, just consider, the apple does not fall too far from the tree...

Yeah, holy fuck, if you can just raise your kids to NEVER cuss, they'll be perfect and happy and decent and the world will turn better. Cause it works like that.

(love your writing)

I would just like to enlighten you on a few things. Joanna loves to post items on her blog about where they are made and what they are made of. Specifically these 3 things that you have posted are all HANDMADE. These products actually help ladies that are in sex trafficking in India and keep them off the streets and make enough money for food and shelter for their families. I'm sorry but next time you want to post something that you don't even know about, some very considerate people that try to help our community and help women that are in trouble in other countries think about why they might possibly be that expensive.

Hi! I read your article on peri- menopause, thanks for sharing. Sorry you go thru all those ups and downs, it can be draining. It reminded me so much of PMDD (pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder), it’s PMS times 50. You only get one good week, the rest are ups and downs from the moment you start ovulating. Child birth can also trigger it. It is very frequently misdiagnosed, only a really small percent of women get diagnosed. You never hear of it until you’re really desperate and confused as to what’s happening to your body and decide to find an answer. Pretty much like your journey. Thanks for sharing, I bet a lot of women will be able to relate.
